Project Aims

Six early career artists who will work with us over the next 9 months as an ensemble company, developing their skills in every aspect of creating, producing, touring and evaluating performance and teaching in community settings - all leading to a new festival of outdoor performance.

Prodigal Theatre & The Urban Playground Team relocated (back) to Par from Brighton 3 years ago. Having toured across 5 continents over 21 years, and with a reputation for making work of excellence that engages at-risk communities of young people, Prodigal UPG are planning several projects. 

 

Kresen Gul Hwel 

The Work Development Centre - will be a purpose built rehearsal space providing numerous opportunities to get involved in the performing arts.

 

The Par-Tea

Will be a festival of outdoor performance, and activities along with great food and drink.

 

The Emergent Ensemble 

Is a covid response project contracting six early-career artists over the current year.
