Tapestry of Heroes - Radio Edit

This week started with Caroline’s radio interview with BBC Radio Cornwall on Monday 23rd November which went really well considering she had to suddenly abandon her script after discovering that the station had needed to reduce the length of her interview down from eight to just two minutes in order to make way for Boris’ government announcement – thanks Boris, haha!

The interviewer, the lovely James Dundon was most welcoming and interested to hear what we are getting up to in the project, encouraging Caroline to convey that one of our main aims is to help people who are finding themselves cut off and isolated as a result of the Covid pandemic. It was great for her to be able to speak out about how well the tapestries are progressing and how many people she’s been able to get on board. She also had a chance to plug the rest of our Covid and Beyond team too, running through what each project strand is offering in their workshops and activities.

Thank you very much for the interview James Dundon.

If you’d like to listen to the broadcast, Caroline was on at around 3:20pm, straight after Kylie! Go to: https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p08xv15p
